Seneca Monster Canoe and Kayak RaceS

Seneca Monster Classic

a flatwater race on the beautiful Seneca-Cayuga canal, Seneca County, New York

October 10, 2021

This late-season canal race attracts casual and elite canoe, kayak, and surf-ski athletes. Enjoy the first touch of fall with a great, cheerful end of season event.

Most of the course follows the Seneca-Cayuga canal, about 40 yards wide, with very little current. There is a limited open water section in the Classic race, but Seneca can be... a monster, and that stretch can be rough.
