This late-season canal race attracts casual and elite canoe, kayak, SUP, and surf-ski athletes. Enjoy the first touch of fall with a cheerful end of season paddling event.
The marathon course follows the lush, gently flowing Seneca-Cayuga canal, which is about 40 yards wide.
The Seneca Monster on September 27, 2025 will feature an option of two courses:
The traditional 9 mile flatwater course on the Seneca-Cayuga Canal, OR
an open water challenge of approximately 8.5 miles in the north end of Seneca Lake.
