Seneca Monster Canoe and Kayak RaceS
Seneca Monster Classic
a flatwater race on the beautiful Seneca-Cayuga canal, Seneca County, New York
This late-season canal race attracts casual and elite canoe, kayak, SUP, and surf-ski athletes. Enjoy the first touch of fall with a cheerful end of season event.
The course follows the Seneca-Cayuga canal, which is about 40 yards wide and has gentle current. There is a limited open water section in the Classic race, but Seneca Lake can be a monster, with 30 miles of fetch.
